BEGIN WHERE YOU ARE
This Guide May Be for You If…
You do not need to understand or explain everything perfectly. You may simply recognise that something feels too heavy to keep carrying in the same way.
You feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted or unable to think clearly.
You feel drained even after resting, as though your capacity has disappeared.
You feel numb, disconnected or unlike the person you used to be.
Your mind keeps replaying what happened, even when you want relief from it.
You have been carrying grief, pressure, betrayal or responsibility for too long.
You know something needs to change, but you cannot see a manageable place to begin.
A PLACE TO STAND
You Do Not Need to Fix Your Life in Seven Days
When everything feels as though it has fallen apart, the pressure to heal, move on or work out what comes next can become another weight to carry.
The Stabilisation Week does not ask you to resolve your grief, understand every part of what happened or become a different person in seven days.
Instead, it gives you a simple structure for slowing down, listening to yourself and meeting one day at a time—with grounding practices, honest reflection and manageable choices.
“It didn’t fix everything—but it gave me a place to stand again.”

What’s Included
YOUR GUIDE, YOUR PACE
Use It in the Way That Feels Most Supportive
There is no perfect way to complete this guide. Move through it in a way that respects your time, energy and emotional capacity.
1. Read One Day at a Time
Begin with the day in front of you. You do not need to read ahead, catch up or complete everything at once.
2. Pause for the Practices
Try the breathing, grounding and reflection practices that feel supportive. You can pause or skip anything that does not feel right today.
3. Write in Your Own Journal
Use a notebook or journal for the prompts, letters and reflections. Your writing is private and does not need to be polished or organised.
4. Printing Is Optional
Read the guide on your phone, tablet or computer. If you prefer paper, print only the pages you want to keep or write beside.
Seven days is the structure—not a deadline. You can take longer, repeat a day or return to a practice whenever you need it.

CREATED FROM LIVED EXPERIENCE
I Created This From the Week I Had Nothing Left to Give
A few years ago, I found myself back on my parents’ couch. My mental health had collapsed. My career was ending, my marriage was over, and the future I thought I was building no longer existed.
I kept functioning on the outside, but internally I was exhausted, overwhelmed and struggling to recognise myself. I wanted answers and certainty, but what I needed first was somewhere safe enough to stop pretending.
The practices inside this guide are the things that helped me begin: creating a quiet daily ritual, listening to what I was carrying, allowing myself to feel, telling the truth and finally offering myself some of the compassion I had always given to everyone else.
The week did not fix everything. It gave me enough space to hear myself again, ask for support and begin choosing what came next.
I created The Stabilisation Week to offer you that same kind of structure—a gentle place to begin when everything feels too heavy to work out at once.
